CIS Secure is seeking a VoIP Production Lead to help keep our VoIP assembly lines running efficiently and meeting daily quality and production goals. Working with the VoIP Production Supervisor, this person will coordinate work across the lines, train production personnel, identify bottlenecks, and step in to perform assembly work when needed.

Position details: One opening; hourly, non-exempt; reports to the VoIP Production Supervisor; no supervisory responsibilities.

• Communicate daily production goals and post results at the midpoint and end of each shift.
• Share quality defect results with production personnel to help reduce defects and improve yields.
• Train VoIP production personnel, including temporary employees, on their assigned tasks and required production records.
• Prepare assembly lines for upcoming jobs to reduce downtime between production runs.
• Respond to line downtime, record its causes, and promptly escalate issues to the VoIP Production Supervisor or manufacturing management.
• Communicate parts shortages and other issues that could slow production.
• Coordinate workflow across lines and move personnel between stations or lines as needed to meet production demands.
• Monitor bottlenecks and work with Manufacturing Engineering on line balance, time studies, and assembly instructions that need clarification or revision.
• Complete accurate production records and help personnel complete travelers, First Piece Inspection forms, and required digital transactions.
• When needed, assemble and disassemble VoIP products according to build instructions; install and route wiring, cables, and harnesses; perform soldering; and rework components or devices to meet specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least eight years of related experience.
• At least four years of experience working on VoIP production lines at CIS Secure.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to interpret detailed specifications and instructions and perform work with a high degree of precision.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical designs, assembly practices, tools, processes, and terminology.
• Ability to use test equipment, jigs, hand tools, and handheld power equipment such as drills and routers.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to groups, customers, or employees.

Actual salary offered may vary based on factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, education, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

PAY RANGE: $28.00–$33.00 commensurate with experience
