The Forensic Analyst is a critical role in our ongoing customer engagements and contributes to our success as a business. You will work directly with customers, internal staff, and external partners to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of mobile security solutions for our government customers. 

This role will require on-site customer support across a wide variety of Forensic support services and will report directly to our Director of Forensic Services (and associated Government POC as assigned) and liaison to the broader CIS Secure Mobile team.

Responsibilities

  • Work on-site at customer facilities to provide a wide array of Forensic support services to include:
    • Support the Secure Mobile program
    • Provide Forensic Services
    • Provide other Technical Services, as required.
  • Report to our Director of Forensic Services and integrate with the broader CIS Secure Mobile team to ensure full integration and delivery of the Secure Mobile program and associated Forensic services.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement and evolution and drive program support mothodology to achieve the enhanced service.
  • Provide input and lessons learned to the product management and development teams to help continuously improve and enhance the altOS solution.
  • Provide input on the strategic direction of the altOS solution to include the identification of partners that will expand and enhance the Mobile ecosystem.
  • Help to develop accurate project plans and schedules for customer engagements and then ensure successful delivery
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare appropriate reports to communicate the status of projects to stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • This position anticipates 100% on-site work with regular hours, Monday-Friday.

 

WORK LOCATION AND TRAVEL:

  • This position can be seated in Tysons, VA or Bethesda, MD based on candidate location.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

  • Active and current Top Secret (TS) clearance required at the time of application (ability to obtain and maintain a SCI and CI Poly).

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, desired.

CERTIFICATION(S):

  • None

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3)+ years of successful experience working in the IC/DOD space and a track record of success.
  • Preferably experience with mobile software, smartphones, operating systems, mobile device management.
  • Experience with Forensic Methodologies and Software (Cellebrite, Encase, OpenText).
  • Experience with Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures (TSCM).
  • Knowledgeable and conversant with NIST cybersecurity framework and 800-53/171 security controls, DISA STIGs, CMMC 2.0, eMASS, FedRAMP, FIPS, CSfC, NIAP, Common Criteria, SLSA, Executive Orders/government mandates, and other cybersecurity technology compliance, certifications, & standards.
  • Collaborative connector skills with intimate knowledge of key influencers and decision-makers within the Fed/Civ, DOD, and IC cybersecurity ecosystem.
  • Comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
  • Excellent project and program management skills.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to drive a car for client visits.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The noise level is equivalent to an office environment.

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for the advertised job, promotion, or transfer opportunity. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. The actual salary offered may vary based on various factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, education, geographic location, as well as internal equity, and alignment to market data.

Job Type: Full-time (onsite)

Pay Range: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
